Christmas poem

When seasons over the wide sky subside
And December adorns his frozen crown
Whilst crackles and flares talk from the fire side
And webs of light address the festive town
When green holly hangs from every door
And chimneys smoke until the early hours
When it all suspends for women and men
That’s when it must be Christmas time again
